In the ancient tiem constellations represented animals, mythological beings, heroes and deities. Some of them guided their everyday based on them. Stories associated with each constellation are part of mythology, have a historical and cultural value and differ between one culture and another.
They serve as guides for sailors , like the Ursa Major or Crux, used the north Pole and South Pole, in agriculture, they guided the sowing time through agricultural calendars, the Orion constellation was also used for navigation and location because the celestial equator crosses Mintaka, which is the right-most of the Belt’s Stars.
