Around the world, especially in Mid Asia, the largest cities are severely unsustainable. With a large population density and lack of green areas; pollution and contamination of the city cause health issues to the residents. Cities around the world by themselves produce 60% of the greenhouse emissions. The effects of unsustainable living altogether could result in the following: phenomena including global warming, destruction of the ozone shield, acidification of land and water, desertification and soil loss, deforestation and forest decline, diminishing productivity of land and waters, and extinction of species and populations.
