What are Verb Tenses? Verb Tenses show if an action takes place in the "Past - Present - Future
What are its uses?
USE #1
The present perfect can show a completed past action but does not show when this action took place.
EXAMPLE
I've been to australia
USE #2
The present perfect can also show a continuous action "It shows an action that started in the past and continues to the present, this action can also continue in to the future"
EXAMPLE
I have lived in toronto for two years.
What is its structure?
The present perfect is formed with the auxiliary verb have and the past participle of the main verb.
Have + Past Participle
But it has form changes depending on the
theme.

With the irregular verbs we use,
The Verb + ed
To form the past participle
Example:

IRREGULAR VERBS
With irregular verbs, the past participle changes to a different form.
