Types of verbs used in present perfect
Regular Verbs
With regular verbs we use the verb + ed
Play (Present) - Played (Past)
Irregular Verbs
With irregular verbs the past particple changes to a different form
Eat (Present) - Ate (Past) - Eaten (Past particple)
The Present Perfect is a "Verb Tense"
Uses:
Use 1)
Can show a finished past action doesn't show the place or time
Example
I have been to Australia
Use 2)
The present perfect can show continuous actions and show an action that started in the past continued in the present and an go into the future
Example
I have lived in Toronto for two years

Subject + Have/Has + past participle
Has : He , She , It
Example
He has played soccer all his life
Have : I , You , We , They
Example
You have been to Peru
