Plot and structure
Exposition: Presentation of the characters Piggy, Ralph, Jack and the others, also show us the setting and how they arrive to the island.
Rising action: When the boys miss the rescue opportunity (plane) by not turning the bonfire, leading to a conflict between Ralph and Piggy vs. the other boy led by Jack.
Climax: When Ralph and Piggy die, because they are the only bridge to reason and also because they are characters who are against savagery.

Resolution: The situation that solved the whole problem was the arrival of the military, because when leaving the island, all the problems related to authority were solved
Conflict
External conflict: The main conflict reacts in the confrontation of the representation of two powers Ralph and Jack, and how the children fall into savagery while they spend their time on the island

Characterization
Ralph: He is one the principal characters, a passive and rational boy, guided by the moral of the actions. He is also one of the oldest kids in the island and represents the organization, leadership and democracy.
Jack: He’s a potential leader but he’s also aggressive and represents the government through fear and violence shown by his behavior and actions through history.
Piggy: He is the character who is considered the most intelligent among all of the people who are on the island. Also, is the character that in society represents people who, due to a lack of communication, do not develop attitudes that allow it to be accepted
Simon: A physically weak character has epilepsy. He's kind, and the first to discover the pig's head.
In society it represents those shy people who are always willing to support, it also represents mistrust.
Roger: Represents violence, He makes fun of piggy and acts impulsively.

The conflict between the human impulse towards savagery and the rules of civilization which are designed to contain and minimize it.
Style
William Golding, the author, has a writing style, avoiding complex structures, heavy use of poetic devices and exaggeration
