It then results in an inhibition of Deoxyribonucleic acid and Ribonucleic acid and synthesis of proteins
As it reduces the production of purine there is less Deoxyribonucleic acid and Ribonucleic acid that is being produced for the white blood cells synthesis
Immunosuppressive agents acting through it effects as an antagonist of the metabolism of purines
It then causes immunosuppression
Indications
Help in controlling the immune system of the body
Treats rheumatoid arthritis
Storage conditions
It must be stored in a room temperature for 28 days
It must be stored in a cool dry place away from light and moisture
Stored in a tetemperature of 15 to 25 degrees Celsius
The container must be sealed tightly
Contraindications
Pregnant women
Breastfeeding mother
A patient with acute pancreas inflammation
A patient with significant anaemia
