Fixed Mindset: stagnant goal. If the person says he can't do it because he doesn't have the ability/talent, then failure is constructive.
Growth Mindset: The person accepts the challenge of difficulty and is open to learn something new.
COPING and MANAGING with STRESS
Coping is the process of spending mental, conscious energy on dealing with problems in life.
coping mechanisms seek to master, minimize, or tolerate stress and stressors that occur in everyday life.
All coping strategies have the adaptive goal of reducing or dealing with stress, but some strategies can actually be maladaptive (unhealthy) or merely ineffective.
Social support, the perception or reality of care or assistance from others, is vital to successful stress management.
