Extended Family: Kristina is Lydia's and niece acts as Lydia's caregiver once she returns from the hospital. Lydia believes that this might be her sister due to her Alzhiemr's diagnosis. However, Lydia is quiet fond of her and is impacted when Kristina returns home. Otherwise most of Lydia's sisters and brothers have passed away. Danilo has a similar situation, last living immediate family with just nieces and nephews
