Open and Closed
-
Closed communication can be abbreviations that only people in the business understand or it could be slang terms in the business.
Closed may have its own language for activities like a lingo that would not be understood by anyone outside of the business for example the local community
Open communication involves language understood by most of the population so it is free of technical jargon and words people could get confused over
Open communication is good for businesses that aim to have a large audience if they use complex language then the gap narrows and the audience might be confused as to what the business is trying to state.
Open communication can be between lots of different stakeholders and the appropriate language must be used open is more used with people outside of the business for instance customers whereas inside the business closed would be used for instance employees.
