        What will SIP have in a 4-week rotation?
        
        Week 1: Entry Week
        
        Wednesday:
        - Subject teacher meetings. Protocols:
        
        GOAL: Student growth. - Where are the deficiencies within each teacher's class with regards to struggling students? - What accommodations have teachers implemented? Outcomes? - Can teachers share recommendations with other colleagues regarding each specific case? 1. Each meeting shall have a note taker, a time keeper. 2. Individual SIP is drawn up. 3. Who attends: Academic Support Coordinator, subject teachers and relevant Homeroom teachers. 4. A meeting is held every Entry week.
        
        Friday:
        - Students enter the SIP. - Parents are notified. :recycle:
        
        Monday:
        - Ds and Fs report reviewed. - Grades updated. - Relevant parties are notified. :warning:
        
        Weeks 2 and 3: Targeted study halls. Students are working on course / grade improvement by priority order.
        
        Priority 2 - Courses where they are receiving a D.
        
        Non-student parts involved and their roles.

        Role of the Subject Teacher: Receives updates on students from ASC. Sends updates on student progress as requested by the ASC.
        
        Role of the Academic Support Coordinator: Sends and receives updates on students in SIP to and from Homeroom and Subject teachers. He-She may also advice parents on strategies to be used at home.
        
        Role of the parent: Receives updates on student progress from the Homeroom Teacher. Sends updates to the Homeroom Teacher as needed.
        
        Role of the Homeroom teacher: Receives updates on students from the ASC. Sends updates on progress too parents. Sends updates from parents to the ASC.
        
        Priority 3 - Courses where they are receiving a C.
        
        Priority 1 - Courses where they are receiving an F.
        
        Study Halls Protocols:
        
        Assigned instructors review individual SIPs for clarification on where each student is deficient in their coursework.
        
        Assigned instructors check with the students regarding their homework and how they plan to "catch up", ensure that students have SMART - attainable- goals and monitors the room to see if students are on task.
        
        Assigned instructors teach a mini-lesson if needed on study skills and organizational skills.
        
        Daily progress check.
        
        Subject teacher meetings.
        
        Placement notifications.
        
        Targeted study-hall.
        
        Student tracking.
        
        Parent communication and follow-up.
        
        Academic support coordinator in study hall class.
