Daily Life
Most people would spend their days constantly working except for special occasions. They developed a writing system and art, especially architecture was very impressive and was able to withstand natural disasters that commonly occur in that area.
Religon
Polytheistic; They had many important gods but their most important god was their sun god inti. They worshiped their gods and held festivals that had food, dancing, music and human sacrifices.

Was located in Peru and overtime spread to western South America

Zapotec Civilization
Daily Life
When the Zapotec Civilization became a sedentary culture, their houses were made of mortar and stone and lived together in towns and villages. They had also developed a calendar and a system of writing though glyphs. The Zapotec found many clever ways to farm when there wasn't water nearby. They would have armour made of cotton when they were at war with neighboring civilizations.
Goverment
The Zapotec civilization was hereditary monarchy and was ruled by a king who developed military forces to expand their civilizations.They would also legitimize priests.

Was located in Central Mexico
Religon
Polytheistic; They had many deities relating to nature and fertility. They performed rituals that included sacrificing blood and people. There are also many legends about where the Ancient Zapotec people came from.

Daily Life
We haven't found any writing written about their empire when it was still thriving. Had many remarkable systems made for the purpose of agriculture and the nearby lake (lake Titicaca) was also very influential to their empire for reasons like fishing. They also had many forms of art that were used for various reasons. They had also made Pyramids like Akapana.
Goverment
Politics was largely influenced by the religious beliefs of multiple ethnic groups.
Location
Was located in both sides of modern day Peru and Bolivia.
Religon
Polytheistic and performed rituals and sacrifice on top of Akapana for their gods. The Tiwanaku also had rituals and buried their dead. One source tells me they may have mummified their deceased.

Olmec Civilization
Daily Life
The Olmec had developed a calendar to keep track of days, the concept of “0”, a writing system, and the Mesoamericn ballgame that would also be played by future civilizations for various reasons. The villages would have houses spread out with temples in bigger ones. Nearby rivers were used as a source of food and framing.
Government
Their government was a single monarchy that ruled with an iron fist. Some people theorize that colossal heads were made by sculptors to represent different kings.

Polytheistic; had many gods to represent the natural forces of life that were represented as humans with animal characteristics. There have been zero interments for sacrifices or bloodletting found but at certain places the skulls of infants who people believe to have been sacrificed.

The Wari civilization was very well known for their textiles and was very important in different aspects of their lives. They made forms of pottery and had precious medals as well.

The type of government is currently unknown and we only have a few pieces of archaeological findings that might suggest some sort of hierarchy.

Was located in the central Andes mountains of Peru

they worshipped the staff god and was sometimes found as a design on there textiles

Aztec Civilization
Daily Life
The Aztecs worked as warriors, merchants, artisans, and farmers. Their agriculture was very impressive for they were able to farm in all sorts of environments. They developed a form of writing, a calendar and played a ball game called ōllamalitzli and a popular board game called patolli. Dance and music was an important activity to their culture as it was to many mesoamerican culture and would also read poems and told stories for entertainment but were also very warlike.

The Aztec government was a monarchy. They called their primary ruler the Huey Tlatoani. The Aztecs believed that the Huey Tlatoani was appointed by the god and therefore should rule

Was located in central America and Mexico
Religon
Polytheistic; Had different gods to represent different parts of the world. They build large temples and pyramids to perform human sacrifices. They also sacrificed animals and objects they held dear as a way to repay the god. Depending on the god or ceremony there were different ways you could sacrifice a person but it was most common that they removed the sacrifices heart.

Nasca Civilization
Daily Life
Agriculture was a very important part of their culture. The Nasca were also skilled in the arts, being masters at making pottery and textiles and being best known for the "Nazca lines”. The nazca practiced various questionable procedures like trephination and cranial manipulation for a number of reasons.
Goverment
Weren't a unified government. Had multiple chiefdoms that would sometimes act together depending on the situation.

Was located on the South Coast of Peru
Religon
Polytheistic; Their beliefs were based on agriculture and fertility and in art their Deities were seen as nature gods and were also pantheistic. They made temples to please their gods and during ceremonies, people would drugged themselves to have hallucinations or visions.

Maya Civilization
Daily Life
The Mayans lived in compounds with extended family with women doing most of the domestic work like raising children and cooking while men farmed. They were credited with the first use of rubber and coco(chocolate) and had ball games like Pok-a-tok. They were skilled in astronomy and math having invented the first use of the “0” and made a calendar with 365 days.
Government
Their government was a hereditary monarchy that was ruled by kings and priests. Royalty was very well respected and were more like city states then one unified civilization

Was mostly located in Central America
Religon
The ancient Mayans were Polytheistic; they have 165 gods. They believe the gods gave them everything so they would give back in sacrifices. It’s a reason why tattoos and piercings were such an important part of their culture since it let them sacrifice blood but in other cases they would sacrifice people, mostly children and slaves. They also had many supernatural beliefs

Caral Supe Civilization
Goverment
They had a small but powerful/inferencial group of people who were in charge of the construction of things like temples and galleries made of stones. They could control the local people who believed that they were legitimized to be in control by their gods.
Religon
There is not much that has been found about their religion but there has been finding of images of the staff god who is a very major deity to later cultures. I've also seen limited references that there might have also been supernatural elements in their religion. Their religion also impacted parts of their daily life like their government.
Daily Life
As far as we know there isn't any evidence to believe they were at war with anyone and would make musical instruments out of llama/deer bones. The Caral Supe people were very artistic, filling their temple’s wall with different types of art. They were also successful at farming, traded the fiber and meat of camelids(mostly Llamas) and even domesticated them.

The Mississippians spent their time hunting, fishing, and farmed with a slash and burn method to provide for their communities. They farmed the three sisters. They where also know for building large mounds for various reasons.

The Mississippian civilization was made of various chiefdoms. The social status of a person is decided by what family they belonged to.
