Check that productivity is improving due to needing to keep less stock.
Check that customers are able to learn about stock from other stores when asked.

Purpose of the policy
Helps prevent a lack of security in relying on old technology
Ensures longevity of company to a more successful degree.
Prevents personal attachment from corrupting future ideas of the organization
What is it & How to implement
The central plan is to slowly introduce the new technology to the store and company overall.
Start off by taking a few stores and replacing the DOS machines in them, monitoring how their success and employee ease changes.
If the stores end up performing well with the inclusion of the new technology, hook them up together so that they can not only access their own stock, but the stock of other stores as well.
Once the overall database is set up, work to implement it on all stores that the company owns, starting with the most successful ones.
Who does this policy apply to?
As a whole, generally the people within the company. The ones it refers to most specifically however are as follows:
Leaders of the various stores, as they'd have to implement it alongside the engineers who create it.
The engineers that have to create the new database are applied to, as they have to be able to create everything using the new operating system.
The leaders of the It district have to keep focus in implementing it, as they'll be behind both the creation and implementation of the various stores.
The various employees are also considered in being somebody who this policy applies to, as their new work method is reflected in them following this policy.
