Forces, Equation of a graph format - F=ma+b - Coggle Diagram
Forces
Force
-
-
-
a force is any interaction that, when unopposed, will change the motion of an object. A force can cause an object with mass to change its velocity
-
-
-
Velocity
-
Without a force on an object, its velocity does not change. Any change in an object's velocity is acceleration
-
Gravity
-
There is less force of gravity on the moon so the weight of the object would be different but not the mass
-
acceleration
Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity which is different than the change of position over a period of time.
acceleration depends on force (when the force doubles for example, the acceleration also doubles)
If the slope on a graph is constant that means that as the acceleration increases, so does the force
