Happy is a succesful adult while Biff works on a farm, not making many money to Willy's distaste
Happy is unsatisfied with his work, he still has a long way before becoming an important executive
Biff is happy with his life, but is worried about Willy and Linda. He is confused over what to do or where to go now.
He decided to get a job with Oliver, as to live to his father's expectations and help the family. Because Oliver used to think highly of him.
Apparently, he quit because Oliver thought he had stolen something from him.
Willy seems to be too endorsed in the past, and confuses the present with old memories
He tends to talk to himself, which worries Happy.
Sometimes he relives old memories while being in the present, being in more than one conversation at the time. Confusing everyone.
According to Linda, Willy has tried to kill himself before
Willy's brother, Ben, died not long ago. Willy remembers him as a succesful, wealthy and well-liked individual.
Willy wanted him to teach his sons how t become as wealthy as him. He's a symbol of the suceed he strives for himself and his sons.

Willy is jealous of his next-door neighbor Charley, a succesful business man.
Charley's son is Bernard, who Willy mocked for studying hard. And resents since Bernard, as his dad, is succesful. Unlike WIlly's sons.
Bernard cares dearly about the Loman brothers. Specially Biff. Since he would always tell him to study and avoid trouble when they were younger.
