        Countermeasures group made tiny movements of fingers on left hand
        
        Finger movement also activates the same area of the brain that would be monitored for deception
        
        Shown either a probe / irrelevant / attention-holding stimuli while having brain activity recorded
      - Participants try 'conceal' their birthdate
      - RESULTS
        
        Those not using countermeasures were detected 100%
        
        33% accurate detection in the countermeasures group
        
        Conclusion: fMRI lie detection may eventually have promise, but currently is not viable
