Function: To produce and disseminate a large quantity of male gamete.
Testes
are the primary sex organ of the male reproductive system
The testes create testosterone and sperm
Prostate Glands
secrete a milky fluid that helps activate sperm.
Bulbouroethral gland
helps secrete a alkaline mucus in response to sexual stimulation. It lubricates the penis for penetration and also before ejaculation.
The
scrotum
is the sac of skin outside the abdomen that holds the testes.
The
penis
is a tubular organ through which a distal portion of urethra passes, it also secretes urine and delivers semen to the female reproductive tract.
The hormones of the male reproductive system are sperm and testosterone.
Sperm is able to fertilize an egg in a female reproductive system
Testosterone produces red blood cells and sperm
Female Reproductive system allows the ovaries to release an egg once a month in order for that egg to be fertilized.
The female reproductive system has several different stages.
The
menstrual cycle
begins when the uterus is preparing to receive and nurture a fertilized egg.
The
ovarian cycle
is the cycle in which the egg and follicle matures.
The
follicular stage
is where estrogen rises and an egg is prepared to be released.
The
luteal phase
is when the lining of the uterus gets more thicker than usual preparing the uterus for pregnancy.
Some STI's that are very common in the reproductive systems are:
Chlamydia
Some symptoms of this STI could be yellowish vaginal discharge.
Chlamydia can be taken care of through antibiotics.
If the chlamydia is not taken care of it can cause PID which will cause or may cause infertility.
Genital Warts
This is a disease which causes warts on the penis and raised warts around the vulva.
The symptoms for this are small bumps they may feel d or soft. The appearance may be like a cauliflower.
The Female reproductive system creates oestregon. The oestregen is produced in the ovaries. They allow for the development and release of an egg each month.
The main organs of the female reproductive system are the vagina and the uterus.

Uterus
is where the fertilized egg is nourished until it grows into the fetus and is ready to be delivered.
Cervix
is a passage way for sperm to go into the uterine cavity.
The
Ovaries
produce and release eggs into the female reproductive tract. They also produce progesterone and oestregon.
Oocyte
is basically the egg.
The
FallopianTubes
is a structure that transports the egg into the uterus each month from the ovaries to the uterus.
The
Clitoris
is a part of the female reproductive organ in which it is stimulated because of sexual acts.
