Pathophysiology
It is caused by the damage in the adrenal glands resulting in insufficient hormone cortisol and aldosterone

of two sections; Medulla which produces adrenaline-like hormones and Cortex which produces hormones called corticosteroids

Assess the color, amount and concentration of urine
Assess for fatigue, sensory deficits or muscle weakness as they are signs of hyperkalemia
Diet
It is recommended that patients balance proteins with healthy fats and high-quality of carbohydrates.
