Concept
The United Nations defines migration as the movement of one or more people from one sector to another, which implies a permanent move.

Types
Internal Migration: this is carried out within borders, such as between states, provinces, cities.

Causes
Economic causes: either for work, for money, better life opportunities or climate conditions.
Political causes: such as crimes, slavery, agreement, war etc.
Social causes: religion, family, politics, change of lifestyle and among other things.
Consequenses
Economic consequenses
Positive consequences: payments sent home, debt payments, shopping, and also being able to make a family and meet new friends.
Negative consequences: unregulated migration, slum development, underdevelopment worsens.
Demographic consequenses
Positive consequences: migration has a good payoff within the country, balanced distribution of resources, good population growth in cities.
Negative consequences: imbalances in sexual composition, unfavorable sex ratio, shortage of qualified people.
Social consequenses
Positive consequences: migrants act as agents of social change, people of diverse cultures, which leads to an evolution of culture.
