Europeans were interested in the trade and market of spices; first introduced in the crusades
The demans were high and constant, making the peoduct more wanted.
Higher selling prices to make a good profit.
Italy became the primary trader from Europe and Asia.
Spain, Portugal, England and France wanted to bypass these trades with Italy, and discovered overseas trading routes directly to Asia.
Europeans found the need to spread Christianity to serve God.
This could continue the fight with Muslms, but also convert non-christians.

The desire to grow rich and to spread Christianity, coupled with
advances in sailing technology spurred an age of European exploration.
It can be seen as a moral inspiration that invites them or shows them a purpose of finding new trading routes and exploring the outside world.

New ships ans sails were created by engeniers
They adopted many developments from other nations
Arabs had triangular sails, whiuch helped dominate the direction of the ship and wind managment of itself
Muslims used the astrolabe, which consisted on specific rings that aligned with the stars, that could improve localization in the waters
Chinese had the magnetic compass, that helped with directions and travel

Was the first to arrive at Africa and partialy discover the Indian Ocean
Prince Henry was the common enthusiast of these explorations
He wanted to inquire these investigations

He wanted to spread christianity to non believers and other religions

This motivated them to explore all the possible wealth, beneath Europe

Cristopher Colombus proposed a bond plan with Spain, to find a route to Asia sailing around the Atlantic Ocean
Colombus reached what he thought was the east Indies, but he had reached the Americas.
