flaccid-when the plant cell has higher water potential than its surroundings, water leaves the cell through osmosis causing the plant cell to decrease in size, therefore becoming flaccid
*Plant cell
Turgid-when the surroundings has higher water potential than the plant cell, water enters the plant cell through osmosis ,causing the plant cell increase in size ,therefore becoming turgid crenated-when the animal cell has higher concentration than its surroundings, water leaves the animal cell through diffusion, causing the animal cell to decrease in size, therefore becoming crenated
*Animal cell burst- when the surroundings has higher concentration than the animal cell, water enters the animal cell
through diffusion ,causing the animal cell to decrease in size, therefore becoming crenated
