Signs and Symptoms
- An agonizing lesion that burns or it chest
- A little sore with segments that seem red, pink, white, blue or blue-black and has irregular borders
- mole that bleeds and change in colour, feel or size
- brownish spot with darker speckles which are large
- Dark sores on your fingertips, soles, toes, mouth, nose, vigina, anus

Pathophysiology
- Series of occasions in which ordinary melanocytes change into melanoma known as melanomagenesis
- alter cell multiplication, distinction, and death
- impact susceptibility to the cancer-causing effect of ultraviolet radiation
Nursing care plan
Outcome: - free from melanoma
- educated on the prevention of melanoma
- patient will be free from metastasis or complications
Nursing Interventions: - assess and manage pain
- administer medication as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs
- Check for changes in skin
- Watch signs of adverse reaction to medication
- Give health education on how to prevent melanoma
- Educate patient on how to check suspicious sores using Asymmetric, Borders, Color, Diameter, Elevation method
Diagnosis - Impaired skin integrity identified by excision of melanom
- Risk for infection
- Acute pain
- Anxiety related to diagnosis of melanoma
Problems: itching, pain lesion,little sore with segments that seem red, pink, white, blue or blue-black and has irregular borders
