Prepared meals like Betty Crocker cakes showed a woman could bake quickly for family.
During the war food was rationed but after people ate as much as they could. Sweets and sodas like Coca Cola became more popular.
In 1950 Coca Cola made 55.7 million before tax and in 1959 79.1 million
People smoked more and had more cholesterol in their diet, in 1960s reports were published about this.
Mothers also started feeding babies formula milk because it saved time and due to the extra vitamins.
