Key Points of Histoy - Coggle Diagram

- - - - the selection of the topic doesn't necessarily mean that the handling of the topic will be biased, it can still be studied objectively
  - - - the historians are interested in understanding the handling and understanding the explanation, this bias doesn't mean that historical knowledge can be taken from it
  - - - a bad historian can be drawn to do so but a good historian would search for the counter argument for their opinion
  - - - the rival historians can critique one another easily which makes up for it, even if they can't find every counter argument, they can at least point out the most obvious error

        historical significance is a product of the society, culture and education, what is considered significance will change over time
- - - - two kinds of historians: the ones that believe every event had solid reason and cause, the ones that suggest fortune has a part in it
        
        the question "What if?" that the counter-factual (visual history) history asks help develop possible outcomes
