NURSING CARE PLAN
Nursing interventions :
- Administer glucose immediately( candy, jelly,, orange juice, honey orally or dextrose intravenous)
-Patient must rest to conserve energy and cancel all activities
- draw bloods
- monitor level of consciousness
- Monitor vital signs
- Monitor intake and output
- nurse the patient in a cot bed to prevent injuries during episodes of seizures
- Give health education base on identified needs

Diagnosis : hypoglycemia identified by 3.9 mmol/L and below evidence by severe hunger, blurry vision sweating
Evaluation: blood glucose was 5.6 after 8hrs of nursing care and no signs of weakness or any signs of hypoglycemia
Problems :
- decreased glucose 3.9 mmol/L and below
- sweating
- blurry vision
- headache
- dizziness

Pathophysiology
Pathophysiology: decrease in plasma glucose concentration to a level that may cause clinical manifestations like changed mental status as well as the sympathetic nervous system stimulation
