housing, nutrition, employment, education, and health

It is explained by the existence of social inequities, which represent unnecessary, unfair and avoidable inequalities
Indigence

It exists when a sector of the population fails to consume the 3200 calories that a person needs to recover the energy lost the previous day
-
How is poverty measured?
Method 1
The poverty line has been defined in one dollar a day per person. That means that with that value a person has only minimal survival conditions. In poor countries, 1.3 billion people live on less than a dollar a day
Method 2
Preparation of a basket that consists of basic and frequently used foods, which have sufficient calories required by the World Health Organization (WHO). The poverty line limit is given by those urban households with a per capita income equal to or less than the value of two food baskets, but greater than one basket
Societies of waste
The main cause of poverty and the concentration of world wealth is the inequality of opportunities for people in poor countries to access the knowledge society
