Good morning to everyone today Im gonna talk about the geography that includes landscapes, provinzes and the territorial expansion of Canada
Landscape
Canada have very different kinds of landscapes that include majestic white mountains, rolling planes, forested valleys, beautiful blue rivers and lakes. The Canadian Shield, and no its not literally a shield, is a hilly region of lakes and swaps is a good example of a landscape that you can find
Territorial Division
The territorial division of Canada consists of 13 political divisions: 10 provinces that are: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitobia, New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador; and 3 territories: Nunavut, Yukon and Northwest Territories.
Did you already know whats the difference between a province an a territorie? Well its simple the provinze is a creation of the Constitutional Act (7 April, 1982), while a territory is created by federal law.
Territorial Expansion
Canada is one seriously huge place, measuring 4,600km from north to south, the country spans more than half the Northen Hemisphere. And at a whopping 5,500km from east to west, it stretches across six times zones! A vast, rugged land, Canada is the second largest country in the world (Russia being the largest) but only 0.5% of the worlds population live there.
Rodrigo 👽 :The history of Canada covers the period from the arrival of the Paleo-Indians thousands of years ago to the present day.
In 1867, the Province of Canada was joined with two other British colonies of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia through Confederation, forming a self-governing entity named Canada.
The new country expanded by incorporating other parts of British North America, finishing with Newfoundland and Labrador in 1949.
Although responsible government had existed in Canada since 1848, Britain continued to set its foreign and defence policies until the end of the First World War.
Canadian culture has been influenced by the traditions and customs of English, French and indigenous cultures. Throughout the national territory, you can find various forms of distinctive cultural, linguistic, artistic and musical expressions from each region.
When it comes to greeting, you shake hands and always maintain a certain physical distance. They address the other person by their last name, until the person invites them to call them by their first name. In the establishments you always greet and thank you.
If you're invited to a meal or dinner, it's important to be punctual and bring a gift, such as a bottle of wine or flowers. Besides, you have to take off your shoes at the entrance.
Celebrations:
Canada enjoys a number of important parties and celebrations. Some are exclusively Canadian, while others have their roots in French and English traditions. Some of its most important parties and celebrations are: Boxing Day, Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Canada Day.

Social customs:
I'ts almost impossible to describe the style of the Canadian cuisine, due to the British, French & Indigenous styles in different territories. As an observation, we can find the traditional Canadian syrup or even dishes dishes based with asian cuisine! Let's see what do we have in the menu
After the Constitution was patriated in 1982, the final vestiges of legal dependence on the British parliament were removed. Canada currently consists of ten provinces and three territories and is a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy with Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state.
Smoked meat sandwich
Let's start with someting that Canada is specialized, the meat so this sandwich i'ts not an exeption. This sandwich need to be hand-cutted because it will be a mess if we cut it in other way, even if it is hand-cutted some pieces will fell off so this pieces of meat are served with frech fries, cheese & gravy, ingenious right?.This sandwich i'ts served in any fastfood place of Montreal or any place of Canada but i'ts EMBLEMATIC in Montreal even this sandwich i'ts eaten in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste day
A part of the Canadian territory is covered by timber trees, where pine and cedar stand out. It also has large praders. The fauna is very similar to that of Northern Europe and Asia. You can find bears, wolves, coyotes, American lions and cougars among other carnivorous animals.
Wild Pacific Salmon
Did you rememer that I just mention some dishes based with Asian cuisine? welp, here it is because i'ts salmon as well also i'ts served with Asian-style rice and i'ts common to eat it in a chilly afternoon on summer on the backyard in Canada...Or in a communitary event in Vancouver
Maple syrup
In the Arctic we come across the tundra that offers more than 900 plants of different species. The vegetation decreases as we approach the North Pole. From the Yukon Territory and the Labrador Peninsula the so-called "taiga" extends and between the Great Lakes and the Atlantic there is a forest region composed of hard and soft wood trees. In the Pacific coastal zone, thanks to the humidity, an exuberant vegetation formed by conifers such as Douglas fir and red cedar emerges.
As everyone waited for, the emblematic Canadian sauce which i'ts proudly on the canadian flag, the maple syrup. The maple syrup i'ts extracted from the sap of the maple trees. And due to the sweetness of this sauce you can find it on your pancakes. Now let's get back to the point, as the leyend of Canada you can find it in every store or even in specialized maple syrup stores on Canada
Among the animals that make up the Canadian fauna we can point out, in the north, species such as reindeer, polar bears, seals, foxes, wolves, stoats, Canadian lynxes or bobcats. Between the provinces of Nova Scotia and Yukon, moose can be seen, while caribou are found in the northern forests; white-tailed deer and bison only in national parks. White chamois, bush caribou and brown bears tend to inhabit the mountain ranges, and the richness in marine species is impressive. In British Columbia you can find fish such as salmon, pike, perch and umbra. In the Atlantic cod, mackerel, swordfish and, especially, giant tuna. Freshwater are trout and Atlantic salmon. In the rivers of Quebec there are large numbers of pike, bass, trout and "ouananiches", a kind of salmon.
