Miguel Hidalgo
- At dawn on September 16, 1810, he launched the famous "Grito de Dolores"
- He organized a government in Guadalajara
- He joined the patriotic movements that worked for the independence of Mexico
- He decreed the abolition of slavery and repealed indigenous taxes
- He was a prominent disseminator of Enlightenment ideas
- He was shot in Chihuahua on June 30, 1811
- He was born in Guanajuato on May 8, 1753
José María Morelos
- He conquered most of the south and center of the country.
- In 1814 he approved the first Constitution of Mexico (La Constitución de Apatzingán)
- He was appointed chief of the insurgents of southern Mexico
- He was shot to death on December 22, 1815
- In 1810 he joined the ranks of Miguel Hidalgo
- He was a priest of several towns in Michoacán
- Born in Valladolid (Michoacán) on September 30, 176
Agustín de Iturbide
- In May 1822, Iturbide was proclaimed Emperor of Mexico with the name of Agustín I.
- In March 1823, Iturbide resigned and went into exile in Europe.
- February 1821 there was the Abrazo de Acatempan where Iturbide and Guerrero signed the Plan of Iguala
- His enemies captured him and shot him in Padilla on July 19, 1824
- he fought against the patriots Miguel Hidalgo, José María Morelos and Ignacio López Rayón.
- He was born in Morelia on September 27, 1783
Guadalupe Victoria
- He stood out during the capture of Oaxaca and joined Nicolas Bravo's troop in Veracruz
- He became famous due to his successful assaults on military convoys
- In 1812 he joined the insurgent forces of Hermenegildo Galeana
- He was promoted to colonel and was in charge of the Veracruz campaign
- Military and independence
- He managed to besiege and isolate the cities of Córdoba, Orizaba and Jalapa
Porfirio Diaz
- Porfirio Díaz excelled in the battles of Puebla (1862, Miahuatlán (1866) and Carbonera (1866), contributing notably to the final victory of President Benito Juárez
- From 1884 to 1911 Porfirio Díaz ruled dictatorially, being successively reelected
- In 1854 he joined the forces of Juan N. Álvarez who managed to overthrow President Antonio López.
- He died in Paris on July 2, 1915
- He was born in Oaxaca on September 15, 1830
Emiliano Zapata
- On March 11, 1911 he took up arms against the dictatorship of Porfirio Díaz
- On May 25 he launched the Ayala Plan where he demanded to distribute the lands of the large landowners to the peasants.
- In his town he stood out defending the peasants against the various abuses of the landowners
- On April 10, 19919, Emiliano Zapara attended the meeting with Carrancista Colonel Jesús Guajardo and was shot to death.
