We are sheep

Weak and helpless
Wander and get lost
Stubborn
Can't take care of themselves
God guards the gate of the flock
God prevents us from falling into sin
Gates are hard to access so
it isn't easy for thieves and
robbers to access
Thieves
Evil will tempt us away and 'steal us'
Word of God will counter these thieves
How does the shepherd
take care of the sheep?
By the shepherd's voice
Listening to the word reduces the
chances of falling into sin
By the sacrifice of Jesus
The more we feel the sacrifice,
the less we dare to sin
No joy is more beautiful to God
than to find us as lost sheep
