In Mexico, the 4.9% of its population has the vaccine, however in USA the percentage is higher with the 31%
125 thousand vaccines made by Pfizer-BioNTech were applied, from December 2020 to February 2021.
It was intended to cover 75% of the population in Mexico City and Coahuila over 16 years of age.
The process for the
Covid-19 vaccine to reach Mexico
First the vaccine arrive to the
Airport of Monterey, Nuevo Leon.
Second and final arrive to
Internacional Airport in Mexico City
Priority Groups:
Health workers.
People aged 80 and over.
People from 70 to 79 years old.
People from 60 to 69 years old.
People from 50 to 59 years old.
People from 40 to 49 years old.
The population under 40 years of age.
One month ago, only 12 million of vaccines were aplicated on people from Mexico
In USA 19% of the dose were not used. This means that in other countries are not as affected as Mexico with the vaccines
Since May 12 they started to vaccinate pregnant women with 18 years minimum and also with 9 weeks gestation
The government make an announcement about
the vaccination process, at first they send you the information about when and where the process takes, days later you have to go to the designated place to take the first dose of the vaccine and finally you have to go again after 20 days to get the second dose.
