Unit 4. Prayer
The Attribute functions
Attribute: the attribute is a noun that is part of the predicate of a sentence in which the verb is to be, to be or to seem.
It is a phrase that accompanies the copulative verbs (to be, to be and to seem in Spanish) and that refers at the same time to the subject, with which it agrees in gender and number.

Attributive Sentences
Attributive sentences cannot function on their own and, for the purposes of significance, are fused with the noun predicate.

Attributive Adjacent
Along with verbs that are not copulative, there can be an adjacent term of characteristic pairs, that is, it varies in number and gender, according to the number of the verb and the number and gender of the explicit subject.
Of the object
The difference with respect to the adjacent attributives of the subject is that now the presumed attributes do not refer to the lexical subject or agree with it, but rather with the direct object. They are thus attributes of the object.
