Kids are a lot of work and money
Kids require love attention, and affection
Spending or Saving Money
You don't want to go bankrupt
You want to be able to provide yourself for your basic needs
Choosing a Spouse
Your spouse can possibly be your life partner for the rest of your life
An unhealthy relationship with a spouse can lead to divorce which is a whole mess of things to do
Getting a Pet
Pets just like kids are a lot of work and money
You need to be able to be there when they need to be kept and fed and taken to vet for appointments
Retiring
You want to retire when you have enough money to last the rest of your life
If you retire too early you may be stuck living a hard life possibly being tight on money
