an abnormal collection of air in the pleural space between the lungs and and chest wall

Pathophysiology
the space formed by double membrane
pressure in thw area interfere with the lung function

tissues can rapture spontaneously around lungs
the gas escape into the space around them
the condition occur spontaneously because of disease injury
