Self Aware Individuals:
- Have a deep understanding of one's emotions, strengths, weaknesses, needs and drives
- Neither overly critical or overly optimistic
- Understand how their feelings affect them, others and job performance
Self Regulation:
- Those with self regulation are not bound by or controlled by their feelings
- Able to control their feelings and use them to their advantage
- Therefore, they are able to create a more trusting and inclusive work environment
Motivation
- Have a desire to achieve beyond expectations
- Want to achieve for the sake of achievement and not necessarily for external rewards
- Continuously attempt to raise the performance bar
- Are better equipped to deal with failure
Have a strong passion for what they do
Empathy
- Thoughtfully considering others feelings along with additional factors
