Devonian
This era takes place 416 to 359 million years ago, here most of the sea animals get extinguished because of global cooling that is caused by the firsts forests that appear causing forestation and reduction of carbon dioxide levels, again the marine species die frozen or without space in the sea

Permian
This era takes place 299-251 million years ago, here was the most devastating era because 90% of all species disappeared, 7 out of 10 terrestrial species and 9 out of 10 marine species, some causes can be that the intense volcanism activity that made the sea and the atmosphere poisoning and also could be an asteroid collision.

Triassic
This era takes place 251 to 199 million years ago, here the dinosaurs started to domain, the mass extinction was severe in the ocean and not too much on the terrestrial organisms, again this was because of global cooling but also was because of gradual climate change, asteroid impact and volcanic eruptions, the dinosaurs that survived evolved into Jurassic.

Ordovician
This era takes place approximately 440-450 million years ago, here the complex organisms that lived in the sea and lose to one hundred biological families extinguished making that 85% of the Earth's fauna disappeared, one possible cause of the extinction was global cooling causing lowering of sea levels by cooling the sea and make the marine species don't get enough space in the sea or just get frozen and die.

This era takes place 145 to 66 million years ago, here the dinosaurs dominated the terrestrial ecosystem, mammals were a minor component of the fauna, in the sea were some of the species that exist today like sharks, in this period 50% of the worlds petroleum reserves were formed. Here an asteroid make that all dinosaur live disappear.
