“My home, like that of all Ecuadorians, must provide a decent life for me and my family.” This means that my home must be built with good materials, such as block or brick; with comfortable rooms for family members; with sewerage and drinking water; hygienic and electricity service; telephone and shower with hot water and gas supply. It is also important that my family maintain relationships of respect and coexistence with the neighbors; that we all have access to places for socializing and recreation, such as parks, playgrounds, and sports fields.
