Kara : Kara is emotionally disturbed and a curious character though she has Dyslexia, she tries her best. by Savaira
Kara is emotionally disturbed by the disappearance of her mom and is also being bullied because of her dyslexia she has hope to find her mom and belive she is still out there BY Alizeh
Kara has learning difficulties and she is bullied. One thing she never loses is hope, she always hopes for her mother to return.

Felix has cerebral palsy but despite that he chooses not to leave Kara's side, he sails Moana and he even rescues Ethan from the storm.

Jake:- He always bullies Kara because his father blames Kara's mother of his (Jake's) brother's death.
Jim:- Like Kara he also has learning difficulties but that does not stop him from trying to look for a job and he finally succeeds in getting one.

Felix:Felix suffers from a disease called "Celebral Palsy"and he spends most of his time in virtual gaming and once Kara challanges him to face real life challanges he starts facing them.
Conflict
Kara has lost her mother, she is bullied in school because of her dyslexia. Since her father's financial state and debt he has to sell Moana which Kara is not very happy about. What is causing more problems for Kara is Jake and his father Dougie Evans who is trying to dredge the sea because of this the mother dolphin also dies. By:- Nisha

The conflict is that Kara's mother is missing, she is having financial issues, mother dolphin is dead the reef is being dredged and Jake and Ethan Have gone on a sail in Moana in a storm. By: Nehel
Plot
Frustrated at school,bullied by Jake and Ethan because of her mother's disappearence.Hopes that she will find her mother and she is somewhere out there.

Kara is a girl with learning difficulties who is bullied at school and just hopes for her mother to return without knowing the problems that stand ahead of her; the sea dredging, financial state/ debt, selling Moana, escaping the storm and realising her mother's death/ her mother is dead.

There are many themes of the novel white dolphin like theme of hope in which she hopes that her mother is somewhere out there and she'll return one day. Them of financial issues in which Kara and her father needs to pay a lot of loans which Kara's mother took for her project but now she is missing. By:Nehel
