Assessment Requirements:

A.) In EVD, record and evaluate the work of at least5 illustrators making note of the tools and processes they use and reference sources

B.) Considering the requirements of the brief—research and select a song that will enable you to develop ideas in relation to this brief

C.) Establish the communication objectives for your song choice and discuss with teacher

A.) Showcase a variety of compositional formats and colour schemes by creating thumbnails and mood board

B.) sing the song title or song lyrics, experiment with different media to evaluate the effectiveness when producing hand lettering—documentation must be shown in visual diary

C.) Experiment with different approaches, and select the style that will provide the most achievable outcome, using media and styles in order to generate design solutions for this brief

D.) he final work must be a combination of hand illustrated type and digital illustration techniques& compare against brief requirements

E.) Produce 5 concept drawings showing how type and imagery will work togetherusing different media and techniques

A.) The final layout and design must include an illustration and hand generated type.The type may be just the song title, or could be a section or all of the lyrics from the song

B.) Apply the final design to one appropriate promotional item (can use a mock-up template)

C.) Document in EVD the value of the drawing aspect of this project and the value of drawing as a professional designer

D.) Evaluate the success of the finished work and does it correctly communicate the intended message and how type and image work together

E.) All process work must be scanned and recorded in EVD and final design solutions saved as print ready files

F.) Describe the safe working practice relating to your drawing processes for this project
