USERS DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW APPS AND DEVICES ARE DESIGNED TO BE ADDICTING
Users are unaware of how apps stimulate the mind, and the chemistry of dopamine and other related neurotrasmitters, and companies are not being transparent enough about how their products are devised to hook the users' attention
Users find themselves hooked in a dopamine stream that is very difficult to break out of. For example, TikTok queues up endless AI curated videos, which prevents you from having to make a choice and makes the easiest choice, to keep scrolling, frictionless.
