signal transduction and transcription induce the production of IGF-1 from the liver bone and pituitary gland.
the IGF-1 is responsible for the features of acromegaly.it causes the rapid increase in hands, feet sizes, forehead protrusion and jaw prominence.

high levels of IGF-1 leads to diabetes mellitus to patients with acromegaly and also interferes with insulin on its receptor which leads insulin resistance and hypoglacemia.
The mutation in alpha subunits will lead to an increase synthesis of CAmp which is responsible for the growth of certain cells.text
I n the pituitary gland adenosis a mutation in the alpha subunits of the guanine nucleotide stimulatory protein is responsible for the axcess growth hormone secreation.
NURSING CARE PLAN
drugs include ;Carbegoline given orally, Porgolide given orally, Bromocriptinr given before surgical shrink tomur; Ocreotide given by injections and Pegvisonent given by injections to the patients not responding tho any treatment.
