Surplus farm products
So the wheat tht is grown by the farmers, they take some for their family and all....and the rest they sell it....and then the traders come and buy it from them and sell it to big shopkeepers and all and then the farmers will have a good amount of money. With the money they received, they will invest it and save it in their bank account. They will also use this money for buying tools or machines for their farms, some even use this to give loans to the small farmers, some use this for any non farming activities. Whatever money they gained by the surplus, can increase their fixed and working capital
Kharif crops- Rainy season-October- December Jowar, Bajra, Rice, Maize, etc..
Rabi crops- Winter season-December- April- Wheat
Due to well-developed irrigation, farmers can grow three different crops. Electricity transformed the system of irrigation. Multiple cropping means to grow more than one crop on a piece of land. Another way for higher yield is modern farming. In the later 1960s, the Green Revolution introduced the Indian farmer to cultivation of wheat and rice using high yielding varieties (HYVs) of seeds.
