similer to the rize / run we cose 2 points and record their x1,y1 and x2,y2 but unlike the rise over run on the graph , this time around we will plug in the 4 valuse of x1,y1 and x2,y2 into the slope equasion ,( m = y2 - y1 ) over (x2-x1) and it dose not matter wich point we call (x1,y1) and wich we call (x2,y2 ) so long as x1 is with y1 and x2 is with y2 , their way we will obtain the same value for the slope , m
