24-year-old healthy woman recently started experiencing headaches. Her friend, a nurse recommended she make an appointment with a health care provider.
Patient went to see her naturalist practitioner and was diagnosed with migraine headaches. Recommended treatment is herbal supplements and acupuncture. After no improvement She goes to see a practitioner of western medicine who ordered a CT of the brain.
Patient was diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma tumor. Patient had surgery to remove the tumor using the transsphenoidal approach. After surgery patient developed Diabetes Insipidus. After the patient's vitals were stable and everything looked good the nurse is ready to discharge the patient. with instructions on what to do and not to do.
