      - Elementary Education
        
        Within the framework of the curricular transformation of General Basic Education, the Ministry of Education, through the National Directorate of Curriculum and Educational Technology, has carried out the following tasks in order to improve the quality of the teaching-learning process at this educational level.
        
        For each of the G.B.E. subjects, the scope and sequence poster was reworked.
        
        Special care is taken with the correlation of subjects to maintain integrity and avoid repetition of content.
        
        The internal structure of the B.G.E. study plan is being analyzed in order to readjust the time load of the subjects.
        
        The profile of the E.B.G. graduate. By subject, the degree objectives were improved.
        
        Reformulation of the technology area and its programs.

        Original credits and copies that support such diploma.
        
        Identity card or birth certificate.
        
        Original and copy of high school diploma.
  - - - This education is provided in non-university higher education institutions and post-secondary education institutions. The characteristics offered are particularly important for the country's development, since they are provided by dynamic educational institutions that respond to the demand of the productive sector.
- - - - At the middle school level, there are programs that have been tested in Panama between 1993 and the present. These programs have been evaluated and are currently in use in a good number of schools at this level.
