TARGETS
we can try not to waste water in our daily life and we have also to take care of our water and use it effectively
By 2030, achieve universal and equitable access to safe and affordable drinking water for all
Support and strengthen the participation of local communities in improving water and sanitation management
By 2030, achieve access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all
By 2020, protect and restore water-related ecosystems, including mountains, forests, wetlands, rivers, aquifers and lakes
-
By 2030, improve water quality by reducing pollution, eliminating dumping and minimizing release of hazardous chemicals and materials,
all living things exist in their own ecosystems like oceans, forests, deserts, ice caps or cities
every single part of a system is very important, because if we take away a part the whole thing can collapse
-
-
we're convertingnatural habitats into farms, roads and cities
in the ocean we are fishing, drilling and mining
WATER A BASIC RIGHT
Only 2.5% of all the water on our Earth is fresh water . It is supposed that climate change will lead to more droughts and cause a 20% increase in water scarcity and at the same time the world’s population will increase so there will be water wars
-
1.1 billion people in the developing world don’t have enough water and it is crazy that sometimes poor people pay more for water because the have to buy it from vendors.
Another problem is that everyday 2 million tons of waste end up in the water sources and all this polluted water goes to the poor people who have no toilet facilities
To distribue water more fairly there are ways , but not enough is being done
-

now we are in a era when we have the biggest impact on ecosystems and the man all over the world is destroying the latter
we can help our life support system whit relatively small changes like reduce waste, eat sustainably and potect green space.
