recycling/reusing/reducing
recycling
Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. Recycling can prevent the waste of potentially useful materials and reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, thereby reducing: energy usage, air pollution (from incineration), and water pollution (from landfilling).
recycling items from my daily life
plastic water botttels
composting
replacing single used plastic items
reusing
Reuse is the action or practice of using an item, whether for its original purpose (conventional reuse) or to fulfil a different function (creative reuse or repurposing). It should be distinguished from recycling, which is the breaking down of used items to make raw materials for the manufacture of new products.
reusing items from daily life
converting old sheets, towels into wash rags
using reusable bags instead of plastic
using glass bottles, plastic bottles and tin cans for making flower pots
reducing
For example, instead of buying small packages of snacks for your lunch, buy one large bag and divide it into smaller portions that you can carry in a reusable plastic container. Here are some more ideas: Use a refillable water bottle instead of buying individual plastic bottles of water.

ditching plastic bags
sopping the usage of reusable plates
