The "Magna Carta" is one of the most famous documents in the world.
It was written in 1215, when King John, known as one of the worst kings in history (for his cruelty and injustice and for his greed for money), was imprisoned and forced by the barons to sign a document, composed by clauses, that for the first time, guaranteed some rights to the people.
Between these clauses, ones gave all free men the right to justice and fair trial.
