Notice the digital divide which means being able to include those who don't have access to the internet, not everyone can afford it.
Columbia public schools have done a good job with noticing the digital divide and providing everyone with a laptop and at home hotspot for those who don't have internet at home.
Writing emails and responding them is very important to know. Emails need to be clear but respectful because when communicating through the online world things can often be misunderstood.

When sending group emails be respective of the others information. You can do this by using the BCC which means the others peoples emails in the group will not show up in the received message.
Cyberbullying online is a serious problem and if you see it being done you should report it or screenshot it and take it to an adult

Protecting your school computer is important because it holds a lot of information you need like homework and notes
One way you can do this is use ad block extensions, turn on safe search for google and YouTube, and create a strong password for your google account.
Be aware of malware which is software that is designed to harm your computer, it can gain access to your information like passwords and usernames.
some things you can download to help find and remove these viruses are Kaspersky, Norton, and windows defender.
Be aware that hackers also send emails pretending to be someone else. Check the persons email who you received it from if it doesn't look right don't open it. Don't open links also because URLs can be shortened and changed.

One way to protect your digital footprint is to use private browsing and make your social media pages private as well
A substitute for private browsing would be using duckduckgo because it doesn't keep any history of your searches
Be careful about what you share
If you don't care about what you share right now and protect your footprint it can potentially affect you getting into collage or getting a job.
