Prophet Musa (AS) and the incident with Hazrat Khidr (PBUH)
A person asked Hazrat Musa (AS) if he had the most knowledge in the world and Prophet Musa (AS) replied with yes. Then when he went to talk with Allah(SWT), he was notified that no man could have all the knowledge and there was a man named Khidr who had more knowledge than him.
Allah (SWT) told him to take a fish with him and the place where he would lose the fish would be the place he would meet Hazrat Khidr (PBUH). He took along a boy with him. That boy was Yusha (PBUH).
They reached a place where two rivers met and decided to rest over there. Prophet Musa (AS) fell asleep over there and Yusha (PBUH) saw the fish escape into the nearby river. Where it swam away, a hole was created in the river.
Yusha (PBUH) forgot to tell Prophet Musa (AS) about the incident with the fish and they continued on their journey. When Prophet Musa (AS) became hungry and asked for food, Yusha (PBUH) remembered about the fish and they then headed back. They then saw Khidr (PBUH) lying there with something covering his head.
They then met and Prophet Musa (AS) asked him if he could teach him the knowledge that Prophet Musa (AS) did not have. Khidr (PBUH) agreed only if Prophet Musa (AS) was to remain patient. Prophet Musa (AS) agreed and they set out.
They walked along the coast and into a boat. Khidr (PBUH) saw a bird and he compared his knowledge as the bird and Allah (SWT)'s knowledge as the entire sea. Khidr (PBUH) then started making a whole in the boat. Prophet Musa (AS) lost his patience but he was then reminded by Khidr (AS).
They then arrived on land and then were walking as they saw a boy playing. Khidr (PBUH) then held the boy and killed him. Prophet Musa (AS) again lost his patience and he was again reminded by Khidr (PBUH) of his promise.
They then started to walk in a village and they asked for some food from the villagers but the villagers refused. Khidr (PBUH) then saw a wall that could break at any second and he started to repair the wall free of charge. Prophet Musa (AS) yet again lost his patience and Khidr (PBUH) told him to not join him.
Khidr (PBUH) explained that there was king collecting all the good boats and the boat they were travelling in was of poor people so he made a hole to save their boat. He killed the boy because when he would grow up he would be a very bad person and a disbeliever. He fixed the wall because it was owned by two orphans who were very religious people. Under that wall was some treasure and if the wall broke, the people would have taken the treasure and he repaired it to protect it.
