Symmetrical, non-inflammatory alopecia

Diagnosis

CBC/chem
Normocytic, normochromic, non regenerative anemia ≅ 30%

Thyroid Tests:
Low TT4 and/or fT4 levels with an elevated serum TSH is diagnostic of hypothyroidism if the history and clinical signs are compatible with hypothyroidism

Treatment
L-thyroxine:
