Circulatory System
Process
In the lungs, the blood picks up oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. The blood mix and now is oxygenated blood goes to the pulmonary veins to the heart.
The oxygenated blood goes into the left atrium and then into the left ventricles. The left ventricle pumps this aorta to the rest of the body
Oxygen, nutrients, carbon dioxide, and waste products are exchanged between the tissues and the blood.
First the deoxygenated blood flows into the right atriumand then into the right ventricle. The blood goes to the lungs.

Blood Vessels
-
Capillaries
Capillaries are tiny blood vessels that connect smallest arteries to the smallest veins. Capillares have very thin walls so gases, nutrients, and products can go through them to the cells.
-
Blood Vessels
The blood Vessels are tubes that connect the heart to the rest of the body. There are three types: Arteries, Veins and Capillaries.

The Heart
The hear is an organ that acts like a pump.It has four chambers. The teo upper chambers are called the atria and the two lowr chambers are called ventriclesSurrounded by thick walls of muscle. The septum divides the heart into two sides:right and left. When blood goes into the heart,it enters the right atrium or then it goes to the ventricles. When the ventricles contract, they push the blood out of the heart.
